Neelam Valley

Neelum is a district of Pakistan-administered Azad Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region.

It is the northernmost of 10 districts located within the Pakistani-administered territory of Azad Kashmir. Taking up the larger part of the Neelum Valley.

Kohala Bridge

The Kohala Bridge is a bridge across the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus River that forms part of one of the land routes from the Azad Kashmir to Punjab in Pakistan.

Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad is a city in Pakistani-administered Azad Kashmir in the disputed Kashmir region. It is the largest city and the capital of Azad Kashmir.

The city is located in Muzaffarabad District, near the confluence of the Jhelum and Neelum rivers.

Muzaffarabad was founded in 1646 by Sultan Muzaffar Khan, chief of the Bomba tribe who ruled Kashmir.

Red Fort

Red Fort also known as Muzaffarabad Fort, is a 17th-century fortification located in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan. It was built by the Chak dynasty of Kashmir.

 The fort is locally referred to as the ‘Rutta Qila’.

Sharda

Sharda also known as Shardi, is a small Tehsil in Neelam District in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.

It is one of the two tehsils of Neelum district, and is located on the banks of the Neelum river at an altitude of 1,981 meters (6,499 ft).

AthMaqam

Athmuqam is a tehsil of Neelum District in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.

It is situated about 73 kilometres (45 mi) from Muzaffarabad.

Athmuqam is the headquarters of Neelum District.

Peer Chinasi

Pir Chinasi is a shrine and a tourist destination located about 30 kilometers (19 mi) east of Muzaffarabad.

It is located on the top of hills at the height of 2,900 metres (9,500 ft).

It is located 93 kilometers (58 mi) from Muzaffarabad on the bank of the Neelum River at an altitude of 1,524 meters (5,000 ft).

The adjacent village on the other side of the Neelum River in Indian-administered Kashmir is also known as Keran.

Kel

Kel is a village in Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive at Islamabad Airport, meet the local representative and drive through Express Highway to head Murree-Muzaffarabad by road , sightseeing on the way, stay at kohala bridge (optional), photography , check in at hotel and overnight stay at hotel in Muzaffarabad.

Day 2:

After breakfast, prepare to leave for Athmaqam, on the way short stay at Dhani Waterfall (highest water fall in Neelum Valley), sightseeing, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3:

After breakfast, drive towards Sharda and Kel. Sharda is an attractive and stunning place for tourists with pleasant weather, sightseeing, overnight stay in Sharda.

Day 4:

After breakfast, drive back to Muzaffarabad , Visit Pir Chinasi , Overnight stay at Muzaffarabad Hotel.

Day 5:

After breakfast, leisure morning at hotel, check – out, transfer, final departure for Rawalpindi-Islamabad.
